What is the purpose of this?

This survey will provide insights into the challenges, gaps, and trends for data and storage in the era of cloud native, edge, AI, and 5G. We hope these insights will help end users make better decisions, enable vendors to improve their products, and serve as a guide to the technical direction of SODA and the surrounding ecosystem.

Why should I take this survey?

You get an opportunity to share your insights and be part of this industry wide survey supported by leading open source and storage consortiums. Also through this survey, SODA Foundation publishes the key summary which can help to get an overall insight for data and storage trends and technologies.

I completed the survey, why am I being contacted again?

The SODA Foundation team may follow up with you about your participation in the survey. Follow-up can occur via mail or by phone. We do follow-up when we have incomplete responses to the survey. For participants who win gift cards will also be contacted by SODA Foundation team to select mailing information for delivering prizes.

When will the survey results be released?

We will summarize the survey data and share the learning during SODACON Global 2021 – Virtual on July 13-14. 

The summary report will be published on the SODA website. In addition, we will be producing an in-depth report of the survey which will be shared with all survey participants.
